Last October, we shared the first audio story in a two part series produced Wesley Weissberg, a longtime supporter of Root Capital and advocate of our Women in Agriculture Initiative.

Here, in the second and final installment of the audio series, Wesley delves further into issues like gender inequity, violence against women, and barriers to education in Guatemala. She speaks with three women in the coffee industry—including Root Capital’s own Margarita Chojolán—who are quietly challenging the status quo and bringing change to communities in a country still grappling with the lingering effects of a 30-year civil war.
