Serving as the Manager of Senior Research and Impact Evaluation, Jorge co-designs impact evaluations, identifies research opportunities, develops survey tools, oversees data collection and analyses, authors impact evaluation reports, and presents evaluation findings at internal and external events. His previous roles include working as a consultant for research projects with the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Labour Organization, and over three years as an ODI Fellow at Vanuatu. Jorge is an economist with a PhD from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a Master’s from El Colegio de Mexico. In his free time, Jorge is a runner who also loves quiet moments at home reading or cooking. His wife loves to drag him along on new adventures that include things like rock climbing and scuba diving.
